We would like to thank all the individuals who have contributed to the Shaftesbury Remembers the Great War project.  Over 200 people have donated or loaned memorabilia, told us their family stories, or taken part in our Reminiscence and Ancestry afternoons.

Twenty volunteers have conducted interviews, carried out research, taken photographs, provided training and developed the website. They have helped to organise more than 30 events at Gold Hill Museum, Shaftesbury Library and St. James’ Church.
